Sly Park Recreation Area
The centerpiece of Sly Park Recreation Area, Jenkinson Lake is a 640-acre reservoir nestled at 3,500 feet elevation in El Dorado County's National Forest. With crystal-clear waters surrounded by dense pine forests, the lake offers year-round recreation for families, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Day-use areas with picnic tables, restrooms, and drinking water are scattered throughout the park — all within easy reach of the shoreline. The park is open year-round, with camping reservations available March through November and first-come, first-served sites in winter.
